Obituary: Perry E. Manwaring

1922 ~ 2004

Perry E. Manwaring was born May 6, 1922 and died October 1, 2004.

He passed away at home as a result of a lingering illness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, and his first wife, Gene. He is survived by his wife Jean, and children Linda Boice, Marian Bodily, Dale Manwaring, Jan Manwaring, Renee Manwaring, Harriet Lewis; and stepchildren; Kenneth Spackman, Mike Spackman, Julie Armstrong, and David Spackman.

He also leaves 49 grandchildren and 60 great-grandchildren.

He taught school in the Pomona School District for 32 years. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy, Pacific theater. He also served a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the North Central States.

Graveside services will be held Friday, October 8, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy.
