John Dean, of Watergate fame, says that the Bush administration is much more secretive than the Nixon White House ever thought of being. Think about that a moment.
Open government is the lifeblood of freedom. Automatically citing "national security" as a blanket reason for avoiding public scrutiny — commonly exercised by the Bush White House — is a harbinger of erosion of all citizens' rights.
As I see it, this country cannot afford four more years of the arrogance and radical ideological agenda of the present administration.
