PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Curtis Brown, BYU

The BYU running back helped get the Cougar running game going in the conference-opening victory over Colorado State. He rushed for two touchdowns — marking the first time a Cougar player had run for two scores since Brown did it himself against Utah State in 2002.

BIG 5 GRIDIRON FUTURES

BYU: BUY — Cougars didn't embarrass themselves against FSU.

Utah: BUY — Expectations are sky-high. Now try to live up to them.

USU: Sell — Coach has cleaned house, but rebuilding takes time.

WSU: Sell — After last season there is nowhere to go but up.

SUU: BUY — Thunderbirds literally have a Cannon for at quarterback.
