SkyWest Airlines reports increased passenger miles

ST. GEORGE — SkyWest Airlines Inc. on Thursday reported higher operating figures for September, compared to the same month a year ago.

Revenue passenger miles climbed 38.1 percent to 506.5 million. Available seat miles climbed 30 percent to 679.3 million.

The airline's load factor grew 4.4 points to 74.6 percent, and passenger boardings totaled 1.22 million, up 31.7 percent from last September.

St. George-based SkyWest operates United Express, Delta Connection and Continental Connection carriers, serving 125 cities in 34 states and three Canadian provinces with nearly 1,400 daily departures.
