I would like to comment on your editorial regarding President Bush's plans for an "ownership society." What he really means by this is that the 1 percent of households who already own more than 40 percent of the nation's assets will get to own even more. People who work for a living will pay a greater share of taxes, pay more for health care, and have less money on which to retire. Of course, he isn't going to come right out and say that. But that will be the end result. Read the fine print before you sign on to any of these "ownership" reforms.
