1922 ~ 2004

Our loving mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Eva S. Seamons, 81 of Orem, Utah, returned home to her Heavenly Father, on February 8, 2004 at Orchard Park Care Center in Orem, UT.

She was born on November 13, 1922 in Gilmer, Texas. She married Ancel Enos Hamberlin, May 4, 1939 in Enoch, Texas. Their union was later solemnized in the Mesa, Arizona Temple on November 14, 1939. Ancel passed away on September 13, 1959. She married Homer Elton Seamons on July 22, 1961 in Mesa, Arizona who preceded her in death on December 12, 2000.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in several positions in the Church, including Relief Society president, Counselor in the Stake Relief Society presidency, Primary president, Teacher in both organizations and a Temple Worker.

Her family was her greatest joy in life. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and serving her family. She was a loving, caring woman who had a big heart and brought joy to all who knew her.

She is survived by her sisters, Vada (Mel) Airoldi, Mavis (Bernie) Lisonbee; brothers Delton (Jeanette) Starks and Darwin (Debra) Starks, her children, Fayrene (Ray) Addington, Dewayne Hamberlin, Janis Young, Bobbi (Filippo) Magistro, Donna (Norman) Perkins, Keith (Debbie) Hamberlin and Tami (Mark) Walker. She has a total of 35 grandchildren and 57 great- grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in the Lindon LDS Chapel, 25 North Main street at 1:00 p.m. on February 11, 2004. Friends and family are invited to a viewing at the Chapel from 11:45 to 12:45 p.m. prior to service. The interment will be in the Lindon Cemetery following the service.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the loving care of the employees of Orchard Park Care Center and Applegate Hospice for the loving and compassionate care they provided for our mother.
