Edo Corp. reported record revenues for 2003 and a 39 percent increase in net earnings.

New York-based Edo Corp. has its Edo Electro-Ceramic Products and Edo Fiber Science business segments based in Salt Lake City.

The company reported that its 2003 revenue was $460.7 million, up 40 percent from 2002's $328.9 million. Net earnings for the year were $14.8 million, up 39 percent from the $10.6 million recorded in 2002. Edo's 2003 diluted, per-share earnings were 84 cents, a 38 percent increase from 2002.

For the quarter ended Dec. 31, revenue was $135.8 million, up $32.6 million from the same quarter of 2002. Net earnings for the quarter were $6.5 million, compared to $4.7 million during the same period a year ago. Earnings on a diluted, per-share basis were 34 cents, compared to 26 cents per diluted share during the fourth quarter of 2002.
