The Utah State Historical Society is seeking letters, photos and newsletters from those who corresponded with "Chicago Charlie" during World War II.

Greek immigrant Carl Zahos, "Chicago Charlie," created a unique organization to connect servicemen and women with their hometown of Bingham. Charlie's "Victory Flag Society" sent newsletters to sailors, WACs, soldiers and airmen.

Linda Thacker, coordinator of collections for the Historical Society, is hoping the public can add to the collection it has.
