OREM — Carly Tooke, Spanish Fork, last month was crowned Miss UVSC 2004.
Tooke will compete in the Miss Utah scholarship pageant in June for a chance to compete in the Miss America pageant in the fall.
The pageant winner receives a one-year full-tuition scholarship to Utah Valley State College.
Celeste Balles, Springville, and Talei Weingarten, Orem, the first- and second- runners up, respectively, both received half-tuition scholarships.
