Eufemio Cruz, age 73, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away at home with his family at 4 p.m. Saturday 20 th
March 2004 after an extended illness.
Eufemio Cruz was born in SLC, UT March 20, 1931 the eldest son of Eleanor and Ladislado Cruz. Eufemio graduated from West High School and later attended El Paso Tech. Joined the United States Army during the Korean Con-flict January 1949 and was honorably discharged and decorated January 6 th
1952. Married and sealed to Sally Ontiveros June 20 th
1952.
Survived by his wife, Sally Cruz; children, Isaac and Noemi Cruz, Billy and Jana Cruz, Elda and K. James Benson, Eddie Cruz, Albert and Mary Lynn Cruz; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Wed-nesday, March 24 th
at 12 noon at the Granger South Stake Center, 4586 West 3960 South, West Valley City. Friends may call Tuesday, March 23 from 6-8 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Rd, West Jordan, and one hour prior to the service at the church Wednesday. Interment to follow the service at Redwood Memorial Cemetery.
