Born Feb 6, 1943 Brooklyn, New York to Gilbert K. And Olive Thronson Brower. Married Teri Christensen Nov 20, 1992 in SLC.

Graduated from Northwestern University, Chicago with a BS in Chemistry. Later graduated from University of Utah with a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering.

Via helicopter, he was the project engineer of mapping the pipeline routes to Alaska and also all the western coastal pipelines and those extending from N. Mexico to S. California while working with Chevron Oil Co.

His athletic accomplishments include being and avid skier, mountain climber, loved kayaking, race car driving, tennis, and golf. He traveled to many parts of the world for work and pleasure. He loved animals very much and they always responded to him.

He was a devout Christian, involved as a young man in the Lutheran Church of the Missouri Synod. Where he was confirmed, and later became an Elder in the Presbyterian Church of Mt. Pleasant.

He is survived by his wife, Teri; mother, Olive, of Skokie, IL; Aunt Adele and Uncle Jack; daughter, Kris-ta Brower Wood, of Bosie, ID; stepchildren, James E (Courtney) Mikkelsen, of Klamath Falls, OR, Kimberlee Ann (Erik) Farnsworth, of West Jordan, UT, Shaun Christian (Cami) Mann, of Sandy, UT; and four grandchildren. Preceded in death by his father, Gilbert K. Brower; and son, Karl Brower. He was greatly loved by family and friends and will be missed by all.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at the First Presbyterian Church of Mt. Pleasant, Utah at 11 a.m. under the direction of Rasmussen Mortuary.
