Dale John Bawden, Born 6/02/26 in Granger, UT, to William Orson Bawden and Mary Ellen Barker. Died 3/24/04 in Maricopa Co, AZ. Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle, and Friend. Attended Cyprus High and served in the Navy during World War II. Married Lucille Barber on 2/20/47; later divorced. Worked over 30 years at Kennecott Copper. A very multi-talented man - Dad could do anything! He carved and checkered beautiful gunstocks and did wood carvings of all kinds. He was very adventurous and loved hunting, fishing, and sailing. For the past 20+ years he lived in the desert of Arizona. He loved flying planes and died while trying out his new ultralight.

He is survived by his wife, Angela Clayton; children Paul Bawden, Dee (Deanna) Bawden, Debby (John) Stevens, Shelley (Alvin) Crown, and Brian (Deann) Bawden; sister LaVee (Dean) Cannon, brothers Leland (Carol) Bawden and Glen Bawden; sister-in-law, LaPriel Bawden; 23 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, son Lon Dale Bawden, brother Orval Bawden, Thelma and Udell Bennion, sister Ruby Bawden, sisters-in-law, Fay and Aileen Bawden.

It was Dale's wish to be cremated and he would want to be remembered as you last saw him. A celebration of his life will be held at the LDS Ward building, 2976 W 4270 S, WVC on April 1, 2004 at 6:00 p.m.
