1936 ~ 2004
Eddie Douglas Monahan, age 67, passed away March 2, 2004 at his home in Sweedtown, Salt Lake City.
Born, July 28, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Douglas E. Monahan and Chloe Lloyd Monahan.
Survived by his mother, bothers, Mickey (Joan) Tommy and Jim (Pat) sisters, Gail Butterfield and Linda Richmond, numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father.
Past owner of Foreign Motor Salvage. Loved car racing and dogs.
His dog Arthur preceded him in death that same morning. Was a strong booster of the Circle Track Racing Associations and local Circle drivers.
Served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and spent two years in active duty in Soule, Korea as a Staff Sargent.
Ed was a gentle giant among those that knew him and was loved and cared for by his family and friends. Many thanks to all for making no services by his request.
