Jesus suffering in Gethsemane and his crucifixion have been largely whitewashed until now. Mel Gibson's movie is an admirable attempt at describing what appears believable. It would be difficult to show that Jesus suffered the most in Gethsemane, bleeding from every pore for our sins, and that because of the position of his body on the cross, he suffocated.
As I watched his sacrifice for me I thought to myself "How can I be afraid of trying new actions for achieving my dreams." Taking risks is the light of life, and if I have helped someone else in the process, humanity wins.
