SOUTH JORDAN — Energy technologies company Headwaters Inc. said Monday that it has completed its acquisition of Pennsylvania-based VFL Technology Corp.
Headwaters announced a definitive agreement for the acquisition Feb. 19, and the deal closed Friday.
Headwaters will pay $29 million in cash and debt.
VFL manages about 2 million tons of coal combustion products annually. The coal-ash applications the company manages include replacement of Portland cement, structural base for road construction, stabilization of municipal and industrial wastes and flowable fills.
