The directors of the George S. and Dolores Dor Eccles Foundation received the Lawrence C. and Dolores M. Weaver award at Friday's commencement ceremony for the University of Utah College of Pharmacy.

The directors, Spencer and Lisa Eccles, Alonzo Watson and Robert Graham, recently gave a $1.25 million grant to establish the college's first endowed chair. U. administrators hope the money will attract a top researcher and teacher to chair the Department of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

Also at the commencement, Anthony J. Baucum II received the $5,000 Wolf prize, an award given annually to a doctoral student who has shown an aptitude for an academic career. Baucum received his Ph.D. in pharmacology and toxicology at the event.
