MEN'S SOCCER: The BYU soccer team dropped a pair of games over the weekend, 3-1 to the Southern California Seahorses on Saturday and 2-0 to the Orange County Blue Star on Friday.

The Cougars outshot the Seahorses on Saturday 14-8, but only Lehi Mackissack's shot garnered a point, on an assist by Devin Matsumori. It was Mackissack's first goal for BYU since the 2000 season and returning from an LDS mission.

BYU (0-3) will once again go for its first win of the season, against Nevada Wonders. BYU's first win of the season in last year's inaugural PDL season was against Nevada. BYU will have two chances to get that win, on Friday and Saturday at BYU's South Field.
