NBA playoffs: Pistons at Nets (6 p.m., TNT); Spurs at Lakers (8:30 p.m., TNT)
Navy NCIS (7 p.m., Ch. 2): The team investigates a grisly murder.
8 Simple Rules (7 p.m., Ch. 4): Adam Arkin joins the cast as the new school principal and an old boyfriend of Cate's. He might stick around next season as John Ritter's replacement, sort of — but, at this point, it's far from a sure thing that there will be a next season for this show.
Frasier (7 and 7:30 p.m., Ch. 5): A couple of recent repeats lead up to Thursday's series finale, as does the Dateline (8 p.m., Ch. 5) devoted to the sitcom.
American Idol (7 p.m., Ch. 13): The four remaining finalists perform. Be warned — it's disco night!
Gilmore Girls (7 p.m., Ch. 30): Luke knows he's fallen for Lorelai, but she's much slower on the uptake. And, while Dean comes to Rory's rescue, Jess makes another play for her. Excellent episode.
Dick Van Dyke Show Revisited (8 p.m., Ch. 2): See accompanying story.
24 (8 p.m., Ch. 13): Michelle tries to escape; Jack hunts Tony down.
America's Next Top Model: The Runway Ahead (8 p.m., Ch. 24): Gee, and we were all wondering what happened to this year's winner. Does anybody remember her name? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
One Tree Hill (8 p.m., Ch. 30): In the season finale, Dan's behavior gets more abusive than ever as he coaches the basketball team in the playoffs. (I like this show, but this is a really stupid plot line. Like they'd have a father coach the team instead of the JV coach when the varsity coach has health problems.)
Judging Amy (9 p.m., Ch. 2): Amy is faced with a teenager who wants to run away and join the circus.
NYPD Blue (9 p.m., Ch. 4): The show's 10th (and second-to-last) season ends with Connie giving birth.
Law & Order: SVU (9 p.m., Ch. 5): Tom Skerritt guest stars as a judge who makes it difficult to prosecute a child-abuse case.
The Shield (11 p.m., FX): Aceveda hunts down the guy who sexually assaulted him; Dutch gets a big break in his search for the cuddler rapist.
