1923 ~ 2004

Phyllis Cullimore Didericksen, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away May 10, 2004, in American Fork, Utah, at the age of 81, of causes incident to age.

She was born in Garland, Utah, on February 15, 1923, to William James Cullimore and Pearl Shoell. She attended Bear River High School and completed her education at Utah State University. After teaching one year at Davis High School, she married Odeen (Dean) in the Logan Temple on December 5, 1945. They settled in Grantsville, Utah, and had four children: Mary Ann Kimber (Gary), Alpine; Paul Didericksen (Jean), Grantsville; Barbara Mathews (Craig), St. George; and Phil Dean Didericksen, deceased. Mrs. "D" taught Girl's Physical Education, Health, and English for 30 years at Grantsville High School. She is not only remembered as a teacher, but also for her tireless effort and promotion of the High School's Pep Clubs and the Larriets.

She is survived by three of her children; a sister, Elaine Ely, North Ogden, UT; three brothers, Grant Cullimore, Layton, UT; Jay Cullimore, Kaysville, UT; Ralph Cullimore, St. George, UT and sister-in-law, Nell Cullimore, Tremonton, UT. She was so proud of her 14 grandchildren: Dane, Gina (Larsen), Kristina (Lemmon), Mark, and Kirk Kimber; Nalani (Jackson), Deik, Dano, Jay R., Devin and Brock Didericksen; Marty, Angela (Choate) and Derek Mathews. She also has 30 great-grandchildren. Her husband, her son, Phil, and one brother, Boyd Cullimore preceded her in death.

Friends may call Thursday, May l3, from 6-8 in the evening at Tate Mortuary in Tooele, UT. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 14, at 11:00 a.m., at the Grantsville West Stake Center, 115 E. Cherry Street. Friends may call at the church from 9:30 until the time of the service. Interment will be at the Grantsville City Cemetery.
