Carlton Wayne Hoobler, age 80, passed away May 9, 2004 in West Valley City, Utah.

Born March 26, 1924 in Willows, California, son of Floyd Benjamin and Esther May Neal Hoobler. Married Barbara R. Hopkins July 29, 1942 in Yuma, Arizona. He served in the US Army during World War II. Was a barber since 1957 and retired from Kennecott Copper Corporation after 30 years. He was an avid golfer and sports fan.

Survived by children, Larry (Connie) Hoobler, FL; Patricia (Scott) Simonsen, Herriman; Cheva (Kent) Christensen, West Valley City; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Engen, WA; special friends and neighbors, Jean and Sue Wilson. Preceded in death by his wife,

Barbara; parents; granddaughter and brother.

Funeral services will be held Thurs., 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Rd where a viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
