"Together Again"

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and sister, Hanna Johnson Sanderson, 91, passed away on May 11, 2004 in her home in Copperton, Utah, surrounded by her

family.

Born on January 10, 1913, in Fountain Green, Utah to George Frank and Olena Mareah Larsen Johnson. She graduated from Moroni High School, Moroni, Utah in 1931. Hanna married Herman Sanderson on September 8, 1932 in the Manti LDS Temple. Moving from Fairview, Utah in 1941, they raised their family in Bingham Canyon, Utah, ultimately moving down the canyon to Copperton in 1960.

Hanna was an intelligent, energetic, beautiful, creative and talented homemaker. She inspired others around her as an accomplished pianist and was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she played the piano and organ for a variety of organizations throughout her life, including the Relief Society, Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, and LDS wards in Fairview, Bingham and Copperton.

The family would like to thank her friends and neighbors in Copperton, especially John and Sherry Bendowski, and Paul Kikuchi for their continuous and loving support.

Hanna is survived by her two children: Phyllis (Robert) Edvik, Kearns, UT; Phillip H. Sanderson, Copperton, UT; seven grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Newell Johnson. Preceded in death by her husband; parents; four sisters, and three brothers; daughter-in-law; and one grandson.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 14, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. in the Copperton LDS Ward Chapel, 350 Hillcrest Street, Copperton, Utah. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Thursday 6-8 p.m. or Friday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment services will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 South 1950 East, Sandy, Utah, immediately following the funeral.
