After learning of the treatment of Iraqi prisoners by many members of the U.S. Army and the failure of the commanding officers to stop it, we can come to two conclusions: We need to protect and exercise our rights outlined in the Second Amendment. A well-armed militia, separate from the federal military, is vital in case a president decides to declare martial law. And inasmuch as our soldiers inflicted the same types of abuses as the cult of Saddam Hussein, our military is not blessed above any other nation as in previous generations. Thus, we as a nation are not protected above any other nation.
