Part of what makes the WWII generation the greatest was its resolve to continue with a task until the job was finished, even when it was painful. In case nobody noticed, this is a world war we are fighting in Iraq. Americans need to wake up and notice the good that has been accomplished. When the going gets tough (the month of April) we must not forget why we are there, and that millions of human beings are depending on our resolve to finish the job. If we back out now the same people who depend on America's help will suffer again at the hands of whatever dictator takes Saddam's place.

It can still be said that we are at least the second-greatest generation, if we don't give up.
