PROVO — A Brigham Young University professor was recently elected to the Computer-Human Interaction Academy at an international conference in Vienna, Austria.

Dan Olsen, professor of computer science, was elected to the CHI Academy Class of 2004 during the conference last month. The international academy elects five people per year out of more than 5,000 members. The group is made up of the top researchers in the world in the field.

Olsen is considered to be one of the most influential researchers in the user interface software domain.
