Entries are due May 28 for the Utah Short Film & Video Festival, now in its 24th year. This year's festival is scheduled June 14-19 in the Salt Lake City Art Center, 20 S. West Temple.

The festival spotlights short film and video works in a variety of formats. Also, its "inclusionary" policy ensures that all eligible films and videos will be screened for audiences. (The only proviso is that they must be 30 minutes or shorter.)

Entries will be competing for a variety of awards, including the Mort Rosenfeld Award, named for a former University of Utah professor and local filmmaker. Entry forms are available on the Utah Film & Video Center Web site at www.ufvc.org.
