OGDEN — Two junior college guards — Dale Parsons and Terrell Stovall — have signed national letters of intent to play at Weber State for the 2004-05 men's basketball season.

Parsons, a 6-foot junior, played two seasons at Vincennes University under Dan Sparks, a former Weber State standout in the mid-1960s. Parsons averaged 14.1 points and 5.0 assists last season. He played at Ascension of Our Lord High in Mississauga, Ontario.

Stovall, a 6-3 senior, helped Pasadena (Calif.) Community College to a 22-9 record, scoring 16.6 points per game. He prepped at Inglewood High.

"Improving our guard-line play was a priority, and these two are the type of players who will come in and make an immediate impact," said Weber State coach Joe Cravens.
