George Padfield age 86, our loving father and grandfather, passed away at home May 12, 2004.

Born to Ernest and Ivy Padfield on June 14, 1917. He married his sweetheart Elaine Richards Aug. 16, 1939 in the Salt Lake Temple.

George was survived by his four children, Alden (Bonnie) Padfield of Salt Lake; Glenna Jean Padfield of Orem; Margaret Padfield Price of Riverton; Gary Kim (Tawna) Padfield of Kamas; 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

He filled our lives with love and laughter, with a special love to the young people. He enjoyed woodworking, animals, the outdoors, and people, but most of all his family. George was a faithful member of the LDS church and served in many callings including Bishop of the Kamas 1st Ward.

He is preceded in death by his wife Elaine, brother, Max Padfield, and sister Elaine Davies.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 17, 2004 at noon in the Kamas 1st Ward Chapel, 100 W. Center St. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Kamas 1st Ward, and at the church Monday one hour prior to the funeral.

Interment in the Marion Cemetery.
