1912 ~ 2004

Wanda Winget Johnson, 91, of Fountain Green, Utah, passed away May 12, 2004 in Nephi, Utah.

She was born December 31, 1912 in Monroe, Utah, to Luther and Thirza Lavina Anderson Winget. She married Evan R. Johnson March 21, 1934 in the Manti LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on August 18, 1964. She married Odell Mortensen, he preceded her in death. She married Hank Morley, he preceded her in death.

Wanda was a member the LDS Church where she devoted much time and energy in many capacities of leadership and service. She was also a member of the DUP. She loved to beautify her home in her gardens and gave freely of her quilts to many family members.

She is survived by her children, Fern Marlene (R. Terry) Smith, Tigard, OR; Bendt Winget (Leigh) Johnson, Layton; and Gayle (David) Mellor, Syracuse; 13 grandchildren; 38 great-grand-children; one great-great-grand-daughter; sisters, Vera Richards, Provo; Lona Brown, Salt Lake City; and Glenda Smith, Fountain Green; and a brother, Oscar (Carla) Winget, Monroe.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Evan; parents; brothers, Andy Winget, Frank Winget and Zenos Winget; and sisters, Nora Wright and Betty Jo Stewart.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 17, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fountain Green 1st Ward LDS Chapel, 200 West 150 South in Fountain Green. Friends may call at the ward chapel on Sunday evening from 5-7 p.m. and on Monday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Ephraim Park Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield, Utah.
