MBABANE, Swaziland — Eight elders and one senior couple from the South Africa Durban Mission recently assisted workers from the U.S. Embassy in an Easter egg hunt and lunch for 200 Swazi children whose parents have died from AIDS/HIV-related causes. The children were 6 to 14 years of age and were mostly from rural schools in the area.

Embassy workers, Peace Corps volunteers and the missionaries prepared the gift baskets donated by local businesses. Traditional colored boiled eggs, pencils, notebooks, T-shirts, fruit, small toys and candy were among the treats passed out to each child as the activity concluded.
