On May 15, 1829 - 175 years ago - the Aaronic Priesthood was restored on the banks of the Susquehanna River near what was then Harmony, Pa. Photo taken by LDS photographer George Edward Anderson in 1907, with color added, shows scene as it might have looked nearly 80 years earlier.
A Churchwide fireside on May 16 will commemorate the event.
