1912 ~ 2004
Austin Miller Scott passed away May 13, 2004 in SLC, Utah.
He was born December 5, 1912 to Robert and Alice Pollard Stewart Scott. Austin was a lifetime resident of SLC, UT graduating from West High School. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served an LDS mission in Great Britain. He worked as a carpenter for over 40 years and was also involved as a real estate agent.
Austin was a very giving person. His hobbies included gardening, and photography. He had a talent for writing letters and was a great storyteller. Being an avid genealogist, he was always anxious to bring the family together.
Preceded in death by his son, Sam; two brothers; two sisters; and a sister-in-law. Survived by eight sons and five daughters, David, Brian, Thomas, Nicholas, Joseph, Stephen, Jonathan, Benjamin, Judith, Kathleen, Linda, Suzanne, and Miriam. Also survived by 59 grandchildren; 85 great-grandchildren; two great great-grand-children; and one sister, Eva Barney.
