1913 ~ 2004
Marjorie Nugent Schefski passed away peacefully on May 14, 2004, at her home in Salt Lake City.
"Margie" was deeply beloved by her family as wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as by her friends and friends of her children, all making up a part of Marjorie's family of "inlaws and outlaws".
Born May 3, 1913 in St. Anthony, Egin Bench, Idaho to Edwin John and Sarah Rosser McKinley. Marjorie was the oldest of 14 children, five of whom survive her.
Marjorie was married to Ernest Nugent in 1934. Her children are Marilyn (Michael) Hendricks, Stephen (Connie) Nugent, Julie (Larry) Craig, Liz (Jerry) Jacob, Jana Nugent, and Sharon Bingelli (Bob) Booker. She increased her family when she was blessed to marry Kenneth Schefski in 1973 with his four children, Kenneth Jr., Karen, Carolyn, and Connie. Margie has a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and leaves behind her special friend, George Roletto.
Marge retired at the age of 80 after 30 years with the State of Utah Drivers License Division, at that time the State's oldest employee.
Her family will always feel her presence in their hearts and will take joy in their memories of her.
She was Irish by birth and was our true "Wild Irish Rose". <! >
