In your May 12 edition you printed a photo with the caption "Father Michael Berg is comforted by his son, David, after learning the details about the execution of his son, Nick, by terrorists in Iraq." This refers to Nick Berg, who had been executed by beheading the previous day with his severed head displayed by his captors on video.
In my opinion publishing this photo of a father overcome with grief over the loss of his son was a classless act on the part of the Deseret Morning News and an invasion of the privacy of both the father and surviving son and their right to grieve.
Why do you have to sensationalize such a tragedy as this?
