PETER DeLAFOSSE, guest curator, will exhibit The Journals of Lewis and Clark and deliver a gallery talk to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Lewis and Clark Expedition, Tuesday, 6 p.m., J. Willard Marriott Library, Fifth floor, University of Utah. The exhibition includes other rare materials related to the expedition.

DAVID HOWARD BAIN, author of "The Old Iron Road," and JEFFREY LOCKWOOD, author of "Grasshopper Dreaming," will read from and sign their books, Thursday, 6:30 p.m., Sam Weller's Zion Bookstore, 254 S. Main.

ARTIMIS ALCYONE, JOYCE BARON, BARBARA BURRIS, HADLEY RAMPTON are among those local poets who will read from their work, Friday, 7-9 p.m., Odd Fellow Hall, 39 W. Market Street (between 300 and 400 South).

ROSALIE SORRELS, folksinger, and Montana poet-satirist-singer GREG KEELER will open the the Second Annual Limberlost Weekend in Utah, Friday, 7 p.m., Ken Sanders Rare Books, 268 S. 200 East. MARGARET AHO, SANDY ANDERSON, KEN BREWER, RAY OBERMAYR, GINO SKY, WILLIAM STUDEBAKER, NANCY TAKACS and MARTIN VEST will also read from their poetry.

BILL WILLINGHAM, prolific comic book author, will read from and sign his work, Saturday, 2:30-5 p.m., Salt Lake City Main Library.
