Doyce Clifford Crowther, age 77, died May 15, 2004.
Dad was born in Fountain Green Utah October 22, 1927 to Clifford and DeVona Hansen Crowther. Married Darlyne Christensen September 16, 1946 in the Salt Lake Temple. He retired from Ford Motor Tractor Company after 35+ years as the Western Regional Manager. He served honorably in the United States Coast Guard. He was a drummer in the Revelers Orchestra. He had a great love of mechanics, music, hunting, fishing, and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Darlyne; sons, Terry, Robbie, Ricky; daughter, Rolayne (Todd) Bruse; brother, Donnell; sister, Sherrie Peckham; nine grandchildren; and five great-grand-children. He will be welcomed home by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at the Academy Park Ward, 4605 West WestPoint Drive (4610 S), West Valley City, UT. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 6-7:30 p.m. at Academy Park Ward and again from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the funeral. Burial and graveside services in Fountain Green City Cemetery, at approximately 2:30 p.m. under the direction of Rasmussen Mortuary.
