HEBER CITY<! > - Bonnie Daniels, age 72, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend passed away in her home in Heber City, Utah, Saturday, May 15, 2004.
Bonnie was born in Ogden, Utah, on February 25, 1932. She married Roy H. Daniels in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on May 10, 1957. They lived in Pocatello and Soda Springs, Idaho; and Escalante, Cedar City, Ogden, Logan and Heber City, Utah.
Bonnie served many years faithfully as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in many Relief Society and Primary callings. Before and after staying at home to raise her children, she managed to have a 30-year career as a bookkeeper and accountant.
Bonnie will be remembered as a loving and giving mother and grandmother, an excellent cook and a sincere friend. Making others happy was always a main priority. She loved crafts, gardening and genealogy. Sharing time with her family and grandchildren and telling them stories about friends and events was a favorite pastime. Bonnie's greatest joys came from being with and serving (spoiling) her children and grand- children.
Bonnie is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Roy H. Daniels; two sons: Steve (Debbie) of Parker, Colorado; Ron (Janice) of Spokane, Washington; four grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Jordan, Shae Anne, Channel; and two great-grandchildren, Calysta and Kaden. She is preceded in death by her brother, Gayle; daughter, Ilene; and her parents.
Funeral services will be held Thurs., May 20, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. in the Heber LDS 7th Ward, 244 E. 400 S., Heber City. Friends may call on Wed. from 6-8 p.m. at Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, 288 N. Main Street, Heber City, and on Thurs. from 11:45-12:45 p.m. prior to the services at the LDS Church. Interment will be in the Heber City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at
