Loving Sweetheart

The world has lost a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She made our lives more meaningful. She touched so many and she means so much to us all. Carole Parson Johnstun, 66, died May 16, 2004.

She was born December 24, 1937 in Price, Utah a daughter of Evan Rayfield and Irene Napper Parson (Lloyd). She married Owen Stacy Johnstun August 6, 1966. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Mom loved spending time with her seven children, 26 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren - the love of her life. She had a great deal of love and respect for her husband and often said "He's the Best Husband in the World, There Is No One like Him." She loved spending time with family going to the canyon, parks, and gardens. She loved serving people, and made huge differences in their lives. She loved all family gatherings and holidays, especially Christmas.

Survived by husband Owen, six children; Phillip and Cynthia, West Valley City; Cynthia and Andre Bluth, Gilbert AZ; Cathryn and Lonny Huff, West Valley City; Christine Eisert, West Jordan; Edward and Wendy, Blanding; Stacie and George Meyer, Ogden. Preceded in death by son Jerry.

Funeral Services will be Thursday 11:00 a.m. at the Academy Park 1 Ward 4605 West Westpoint Drive West Valley City. Friends may call Wed evening 6-8 p.m. at the church and Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Valley View Memorial Park. Directors Independent Funeral Service.
