John Rhodes passed away May 15, 2004 of a brain tumor.

He was born the fourth or four boys to Charles F. and Alma Bennett Rhodes, on September 26, 1923 in Greenville, MO.

John was an avid golfer, and spent countless hours honing his skills with Jack and the boys. He would pass on endless stories of adventure and misadventure which remained remarkably free of embellishment even after MUCH repetition.

John served his country with courage and honor during the second World War, as a proud member of the 502nd parachute Regiment of the famous 101st Airborne Division, serving three Behind the Lines jumps in Central Europe.
