Our beloved and gentle father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away peacefully at home, May 16, 2004. He was 91 years old.
He was born on May 24, 1913 to Warren Absalom Brady and Anna Marie Tucker Brady. He was sixth of nine children. Myron married his devoted wife, Ivie Peterson, in the Salt Lake Temple on December 20, 1933. He was the father of five daughters, 21 grandchildren, and 49 great-grandchildren who loved him dearly.
Myron owned and operated Brady's Bakery, located at 8600 S. State Street, Sandy, Utah for 20 years. He served as councilman for Sandy City, and was a member of the Sandy City Lion's Club. He also worked for Jordan School District. He was active in the LDS Church. He served as Bishop of Sandy Second Ward for four years, and served a mission at Jordan Temple for two years. He took great pride in building five homes for his family. He had a great love for the outdoors, enjoying fishing, hunting and boating. He was a caring, humble father, grandfather, and great grandfather who loved his family and was so proud of their accomplishments. They will miss hearing him sing and play his guitar at family gatherings. He also loved to reminisce with his children about his wonderful memories of a full and happy life.
He is survived by children, Naomi McNamera (Ralph Gerald), Anna Maurer (David), Judith Gurney (Boyd), Marjorie Larson (Dennis), and Debra Henager (Steve), and one sister, Annetta Poulson (Earl).
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ivie, and seven brothers and sisters: Warren Brady, Guy Brady, Lyle Brady, VonDella Scouton, Mary Larson, Alga Brown, Erma
Labrum.
Funeral Services are Thurs., May 20, 2004, at 11 a.m. at the Crescent 24th Ward 275 E. 10600 So., Sandy, Utah. Family and friends may visit Wed., May 19, 2004, from 6-8 p.m., at lake Hills Memorial Mortuary 10055 So. State St., with one hour prior to service at the church. Interment will be at Lake Hills Memorial Cemetery.
