Born on July 19, 1932 in Winnemucca, NY to Glenn W. and Hadene Morton, passed away on May 18, 2004, after a long battle with colon cancer.

Glenn served in the U.S. Navy from 1949 until 1953; it was during this time that he met his wife to be, Kathleen May McEachine. They were wed on December 4, 1953 in Vancouver B.C. Canada. In 1955 Glenn began a 43 year career as an engineer for the Western Pacific Railroad (which is now the Union Pacific Railroad).

Glenn was an avid baseball fan, he loved every game from little league to World Series. He and his wife Kathy traveled the U.S. and Canada always searching for a stadium with a game.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 50 years, his children, Glenn E. (Cynthia) Morton, Los Angeles, CA; Valerie (Scott) Petersen, Tooele, UT; Patricia (Keith) Spencer, Riverton, UT; Richard Morton, Midvale, UT; and Craig Morton, UT. Glenn is also survived by his siblings, Robert Morton, Salt Lake City, UT;' Mike Morton, Reno, NV; Pat Morton, Colombia, MO and Dorothy Pottger, San Diego, CA; seven grandchildren and two great-grand-children. He was preceded in death by his mother and father.

The family would like to thank all of the doctors and staff at Dr. Difiore's office as well as a special thank you to his hospice team. Charles you made this a lot easier for us all. There will be no funeral services held as per Glenn's request.
