Donna Rose Blake Baldwin, loving wife, beloved mother and grandmother, died peacefully on Monday, May 17, 2004.

She was born June 10, 1923, in Salt Lake City to Lillian Stelter and Herbert John Blake. She married Jay B. Baldwin Jr. on November 19, 1943 in Stockton, CA. Jay died on June 8, 2003. Donna graduated from East High in the class of 1940. She then attended the University of Utah. She pledged the Phi Mu Sorority. For many years she belonged to a service organization Beta Sigma Phi.

She worked professionally as a secretary. She loved every job she held. Her early married life was lived in Tooele, Utah where she met many life long friends. She loved golfing and playing competition tennis for the Foundation of Youth Club. She also loved traveling all over in their motor home. She was an active member of the LDS Church and held many positions in her ward.

Donna is survived by her daughter Pamela Baldwin Holt (Edward), and sons Jay B. Baldwin III (Janice) Carson City, NV, Gregory Blake Baldwin (Lynda), Gary Scott Baldwin (Claudia) Clearfield, UT, 19 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert and sister Beverly.

The family would like to express gratitude and thanks to the wonderful staff at the Alta Ridge Alzheimer's Facility for the loving care they gave to our dear mother.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 20, 2004 at the Mt. Olympus 1st Ward, 4625 South Lanark Rd. (3315 East) at 11:00 AM. Friends may call at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary on Wednesday, May 19, 2004 from 7-9 pm and one hour prior to the services at the chapel. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
