Let me get this straight. Since Drew Weaver is "one of the 3,480 delegates who voted" in the Republican convention, he is not as "narrow-minded" as Amy Brunvand and Susan Hansen, who were not among the 3,480 delegates.
Is not the purpose of being a delegate to represent the will of the people in your district? Would it not have been more appropriate to reflect the will of the people and have Gov. Olene Walker participate in a primary?
If delegates cannot, will not or do not have to represent the will of the people, than perhaps we should scrap this archaic system as the majority of other states have done, and give the government back to the people as a whole, rather than just a select few.
