HEBER — Diatect International Corp. reported Tuesday a net loss of $583,470, or 1 cent per share, for the first quarter. That compares with a loss of $736,341, or 2 cents per share, for the same period a year ago.
Revenue totaled $209,587, up from $130,453 a year ago.
The Heber company produces insect control products, and Jay Downs, chief executive officer, said the company believes revenues from operations "will continue to grow as we move further from the development stage to a full marketing and sales program."

Diatect stock was unchanged Tuesday at 16 cents. During the past year, the price has ranged from 10 cents to 39 cents.
