Salt Lake-based Questar Corp. announced Tuesday it will increase its quarterly common stock dividend from 20.5 cents per share to 21.5 cents per share.

The dividend is payable June 14 to stockholders of record on May 28.

Questar's declared quarterly dividend is 3 cents per share higher than a year earlier, according to a prepared statement by the company, and is the company's 238th consecutive dividend without a reduction. Questar has increased its dividend 31 times in the past 32 years.

In addition, five members of Questar's board of directors were elected to three-year terms at the natural gas company's annual shareholders meeting Tuesday.
