Police again are asking for the public to help identify the driver of a truck that hit a 71-year-old woman on May 12.
The woman remains in a coma at a local hospital, Salt Lake police detective Dwayne Baird said.
About 9:35 p.m. on May 12, a light blue or turquoise small pickup that's possibly a Ford Ranger was traveling west on 2100 South near 135 East when it collided with the woman who was crossing the street. The driver made a U-turn and returned to the accident scene to look at her. The man then returned to the truck and sped away east on 2100 South, Baird said.
The man is described as white, in his late 50s or early 60s with a shaggy, weather-beaten face, a large nose, no facial hair. He was wearing a baseball cap. His truck has front-end damage.
People with information are asked to call Salt Lake police at 801-799-3000.
