1933 ~ 2004

CLINTON<! >

- Our dear Marion returned to her heavenly home peacefully May 18, 2004, in Ogden, Utah.

Marion was born Oct. 18, 1933 in Glendale, CA. and moved to Kaysville, Utah, with her family in 1946.

Marion was the oldest of five children born to Edwin M. (Bud) and Norene Gibby Halliday who preceded her in death.

She married Clyde S. Biggs. They had three children: Brian Scott, Cara Lee, and Jana Lynn. Marion divorced Clyde, and he has since passed away. Cara Lee and Jana also preceded her in death.

Marion married John Philip Chesley on September 7, 1976 in Reno, Nevada. Their union was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS temple. He adopted Jana, and both Jana and Cara Lee were sealed to them as an eternal family. John has given such loving care to his Marion and Jana through the years.

Marion loved music and reading and second graders at Riverdale Elementary. She worked long and hard to graduate from Weber State University with degrees in elementary education. She also loved to travel with John.

Marion battled diabetes for 45 years. She took very good care of herself. She loved life and her family and serving Heavenly Father for the better part of 70 years.
