1953 ~ 2004

George wanted to thank everyone who walked the path of life with him.

George E. McMurdie checked out on May 17, 2004 of melanoma cancer. He was surrounded by his loving wife Diane, whom he married barefoot on the beach in Kauai on June 30, 1998.

Also surrounded by his wonderful children, Lisa (Travis), Tina (Arturo), Dustin (Crystal), Kristin (Shane), and three precious grandchildren, Lauren, Elijah, Abigail and one on the way who will miss his uplifting laughter, his words of advice, his warm hugs and kisses and positive attitude until the end.

We love you Dad.

P.S. (Havannah Good Day) <! >

George was born on Nov. 10, 1953 to the late George Kay McMurdie and Patsy Marie Bradshaw (Peek). He is the loving big brother to Becky (Jim), Sue (Mike), Teresa (Spencer), Judy McMurdie (Ken), John (Kerri), Steve (Alexis), Mindy (Mike).

George's laugh could light up a room, he loved sitting in his beautiful yard that he and Diane created together, listening to the waterfalls, having fires in the pit, Smoking cigars and spending time with family and friends. George loved riding his Harley, making furniture for his children, camping with his family and building Diane's castle. If he was your mechanic, you were happy.

Everything he did was done with perfection. George was such a special person, he loved everyone and everyone loved him. He touched all our lives.

George, you are the love on my life and the man of my dreams, although our time was short it will last a lifetime. I was so lucky to have you in my life.

YOU PRECIOUS, PRECIOUS BABE<! >
