1921 ~ 2004

Our dear mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother, sister and friend, Marjorie Oliver, age 82, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2004.

Born October 7, 1921 to Wallace E. and Margaret G. Clements in Salt Lake City, Utah. Truly the mother of our family, she lovingly influenced all our lives. A giver of only good things, people across the world have been warmed by the many hundreds of hats she crocheted for the needy each year, every stitch made with love and caring for others. She was especially happy to learn that some of her hats went to Bosnia and other European countries. Mom did not want or expect recognition and was embarrassed when she received it. Such is a mother. Her love of her family and unselfish ways will remain in our hearts and we'll cherish her forever.

Mom is preceded in death by her parents and brother, William P. Clements. She is survived by her children, Dennis (Linda) Lowe, West Valley City; Linda Myers, Kearns; Jess (Linda) Lowe, Creal Springs, IL; Layne (Teri) Oliver, West Valley City; Tanya (Randy) Talbot, West Valley City; Elaine (John) Strong, West Jordan, UT; 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Naurice Ruby Eisenhower, Oklahoma.
