The Grand Canyon was very special to him. He worked for several summers on the North Rim. The friends he met there became very meaningful throughout his life. He loved to watch wind on the wings of ducks, sunrise on the marsh, spending time in "the desert" rock hunting and a good basketball game!
He brought a lot of opportunities to his family and extended family. He was a compassionate man and sweet soul. He was a good father, our dad, our friend. We will miss him and are grateful his suffering has turned to light.
