Wasatch Mountain State Park is collecting items from the public to sell for future park beautification projects.
The park will host a garage sale Saturday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with all proceeds helping to fund various projects deemed necessary by park management.
Items in usable condition are being accepted, and pickup for large items can be arranged through the park by calling 435-654-1047.
Wasatch Mountain State Park, three miles northeast of Heber City between Park City and Provo, offers 122 campsites, a 36-hole golf course and several hiking trails. The park sits on 22,000 acres of partially undeveloped land neighboring Soldier Hollow and Dutch Canyon.
Friends, a nonprofit organization based in Midway, will spearhead the annual garage sale fund-raiser. Last year's sale raised about $1,200 for the park.
